Making a website can be really easy if you know where you can make one. Many sites will let you make one. You can also buy a website name and set it up but that costs thousands of dollars. The easiest way to set one up is to go to a website like www.expage.com and set one up.

The first step to set up your site is to go to any website that will let you set up a website like www.expage.com. There will be a link somewhere that says “Create Homepage” and you click on it. You first type in the name of your website which will be the address that you type in to get to the page. After you type the name you have to type in a password that will allow you to edit your page in the future. After you have typed in the name and the password, click on the button that says submit and it will create your website.

The second step is designing the website. You must first have a theme to your site to know what to put on it. My theme was a list of Grant Hill basketball cards to sell. There will be a bar on the top that has fourteen buttons on it. They help you design your site to the way you want it. The first button you must click on is the “Title” button. This button will let you put a title on the top of the page that will tell the viewers what your page is about. The second button to click on is the “Slogan” button. This button will let you tell the viewers why you have your site and what it is for. The third button to click on is the “Background” button. This will let you put a design in the background that will make the site a bit more colorful and more interesting to the viewer. The fourth button to click on is the “Graphics” button. This will put a picture with your title and your slogan. The last button to click on is the “Features” button. This will allow you to sh!

ow the viewers when you last updated your page; how many times your page has been accessed, let viewers sign a guest book, and have the option of music, a joke page, a mini quiz page and a photo album.

The third step to making your website is to show what your site is about. You can either put a message on it or put pictures on it. I then put a little title of what each of the cards is. You can also just put a link there to take the viewer to a different website. After you have put all that you want in the body of the site you are then ready to finish the site up. There is another button on the top that says “Directory.” If you click on the button it will put your website on the web directory and will allow other people the search for your site if they were looking for a site just like yours. It will allow it to be searched by any search engine on the web.

Making a website is really easy if you know where to go to make one. You can make a website about anything. You can make it about cooking, baseball, basketball and many other things. These steps will allow you to set up your website easily without any problems.
